15 lbs Pilsner malt
7.5 lbs Vienna malt
2.5 lbs Dextrin malt
1.5 lbs Munich malt
0.75 lbs Carared malt
0.75 lbs Caramunich malt
0.25 lbs Carafa II
0.35 oz Magnum @ 65 min
1.0 oz Hallertau @ 65 min

Wyeast 2633 Oktoberfest Lager Blend

0.25 Yeast nutrients

OG 1.174
FG 1.045

Primary Fermentation 23 days at 48 F

Mash at 154 F for 70 minutes
Mash out at 168

  1. I brewed this in Oct 2016. It won Gold and BOS at 2018 Arizona Society Of Homebrewers Springfest. And it won gold 1st round of NHC 2018 San Diego. The yeast I used was 5 packets of Saflarger 23.
